What BIG Corporations are in PA?

manufacturing in the US

Out of curiosity, I Googled and found that there are many big corporations right here in Pennsylvania. This companies are employing thousands of Pennsylvania residents, and some of those corporations are even based headquartered here in Pennsylvania. For example in the Allentown area, the companies of Kraft, Uline, Nestlé and Amazon have a huge presence and square footage hiring a wide variety of employees.

Nestlé alone has a number of divisions, including Nestlé Purina, Nestlé Waters, Nestlé nutrition, Nestlé health science and NESPRESSO. Recent jobs that have been posted by Nestlé include that of an electrician, warehouse supervisor, production team leader, and maintenance mechanic, just to name a few. A quick look at Amazon shows that they hire Warehouse Associates, among many other categories of employees to fulfill product orders, which, come in a wide variety, as people order things online. These products can range from automobile parts, beauty and skin care, clothing and accessories, books, fine art, gift certificates, gourmet food, jewelry, sports collectibles, videos, DVDs and Blu-rays, and watches, to name a few. Uline makes products such as boxes, bubble wrap, paper products, plastic bins, duct tape, storage file boxes, to name a few. They also offer customer service, office, warehouse, and sales positions in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.

Did you know that Kraft Foods also has a huge facility located near Allentown, Pennsylvania? They hire people in production and trades, repair, media and entertainment, transportation, sales, food service, office support, even personal care. This company also prides themselves on hiring military veterans, and long-term unemployed individuals.
