Time Limitation of Filing a Claim for Worker's Comp/Benefits

Time Limitations

Be aware that the law only allows a limited period of time for social security claims to be made, and Robinson Law can help you determine how much time you have left to file your claim.  If you fail to file your claim within the time provided by law, it may be dismissed and you may be denied benefits that you otherwise may have been entitled to.  You should apply at any Social Security office as soon as you become disabled. {You can file by phone, mail, online, or by visiting the nearest office.}

Please note that Social Security disability benefits will not begin until the 6th full month of disability.  This “waiting period” begins with the first full month after the date the Social Security Administration decides your disability began.
